The clamping sleeves are produced from spring-hardened steel. The outside diameter is according to ISO tolerance h5, the center bore to ISO tolerance H6 machined. The concentricity of the bore/outside diameter is accurate to 0.008mm and from d2>80mm, concentricity to IT4. Two different series (AK/AL and IK/IL) are offered, for the different types of clamping force application.
 

The AK/AL series sleeves are designed for use where the clamping force is initiated from the housing.

The IK/IL series sleeves are used in cases where clamping force is initiated from the shaft.

It is verry important, that the clamping force is applied to the end faces of the clamping sleeves in the area of diameter d3 and d4 resp. d5 and d6.
